The BLM has completed NEPA requirements on the Bear Ridge Culvert Replacement and Repair project by preparing a Categorical Exclusion for the project which is in a category for which Federal agencies have determined do not have significnat effects to the human environment. The project would replace two culverts that have failed or are in danger of failing with new culverts that will accommodate 100 year flood events. The project would also repair a slumping road edge that is failing due to water flow from one of the failing culverts undermining the edge. This work would occur in the Bear Creek subwatershed of the Nestucca River watershed in Tillamook County, Oregon.
